Claibourne House is rich in ornamental detail with beveled mouldings, hardwood floors, and walk-through windows. The chef's kitchen is open, with beaded board shelving and a granite island. The adjacent dining room has an antique chandelier, fireplace, lovely oak dining table which seats ten, and fine art.

The entrance hall has an antique table/desk where guests are welcomed, a Baby Grand piano which guest use and fine abstract art. The living room is furnished in antiques with fireplace and more art. The downstairs bedroom is a handicapped room. It has its own entrance. Marble bath, TV, and two walls of library shelves with books for guests' pleasure.

The upstairs sitting room has a TV and telephone. All rooms have easy chairs and reading lamps, books and current magazines. There is a large wraparound porch with chaises and rocking chairs for morning coffee or a glass of wine. Adjacent to the porch is a brick terrace, perfect for al fresco dining.
